Marine Insurance
Whether on FOB or CIF terms, we strongly recommend marine cargo insurance — cost is 0.3-0.8% of cargo value. A single 40-foot container of bearings can carry $25,000-$80,000 of value; insurance protects against fall-overboard, port damage, and theft. CHKZ can arrange insurance on request even under FOB terms.
